LED Addition
Hello Everyone,
I am strongly considering adding an LED unit to my tank to help accentuate and bring out more colors in my corals. Today I was at my LFS and the owner showed me his Vertex Illumilux 48 inch LED unit...I was blown away! Does anyone have any reviews on this unit? He said it utilized 3 watt Cree LED's, there was virtually no heat transfer, and it would add a much needed "pop" to my tank. I almost bought it straight out, but decided to do some research first. He offered to sell me the unite at a discount (about 20% off) and throw in the leg bracket kit for free as well. I am not able to do a LED DIY due to costs (I have $200 gift certificates to my LFS from XMAS) but would still like to add some accentuating lighting. Thanks in advance, Robert
