Very nice. Will you be putting it with other tangs are they easy to keep and would they be ok with a Gem tang?

He's a tiny fella, really nice. Where did you get it and for how much? I would love to get a juvi black tang but the price still seems high.

I think he will go in with a blue tang, possibly a powder blue.
I wouldn't keep him with a gem or other Zebrasoma, although probably some people do. I got him from an LFS during a black friday sell, for less then I've seen them for online... which right now is about $900.

I'll have to put PIA on my list of websites to check when I'm looking for something.
Both LA and Blue Zoo Aquatics wanted $900.

Awesome fish. I have seen two of these in person before and they are beautiful fish. Absolutely one of my favorite tangs. Good luck with him.

Ken,
Are you sure? He looks pretty happy. LOL. Dragon, I agree, especially when you get to watch one <1" grow to adult size.

From what I've seen, they seem to be more expensive in smaller sizes, compared to larger sizes. 400+ For 1"+ is definitely a steal. Very rare to find something that size at our LFS.

Choboreef,
I agree, juveniles (as well as large show size fish) seem to command a premium.
