Need help with new ASM skimmer
I just recieved my new ASM MINI-G skimmer yesterday and as soon as I plugged it in the pump sounds like a "buzzsaw." At first I thought it was the pump vibrating against the glass but that wasn't it. I detached the pump from the skimmer and just ran it alone. If I use my finger to close up the venturi for the bubbles, the pump runs silent, as soon as I start to take my finger off the airline that "buzzsaw" noise comes back. Any ideas? It's going to cost me almost $17 tomorrow when I send it back, but I was hoping somebody could explain why this is happening or even help to fix it beforehand. Thanks.
