Power head
I was wondering if anyone has used a zoo med power sweep power head on a timer or wave maker. Will it last very long or are they even designed for that use? Thanks.

Hate to say it, but I can't believe those are still sold. I had one years ago and it was a twice weekly maintenance nightmare before it finally quit rotating completely. I would not recommend

I've had it for awhile just realized when I had got my new light with built in timer that I could use my power strip as a wave maker. I have this one on one side and a maxi on the other side. I know it doesn't always swivel. Didn't know how it would handle on and off every 15 minutes.
