is this enough filtration?
Here's what I got.
75 gallon tank w/ 55 g sump +5 gallon skimmer capacity Water in tank overflows into plumping. outlet drains into a funnel and into a mesh basket with a black sponge, than a fine sponge, than 3 bags of chemipure. All this is suspended above the sump, kind of a wet dry I guess. Well that water gets pumped into my diy waterjug skimmer and pumped into the return side of the sump. I also have a 1 gallon food container with a wad of chaeto and a powerhead. Temporary surface skimmer. It sucks water over the top of the container, the powerheads intake is poked in through the side, shooting chaetod water into the tank. Tests are good, corals look fine, flounder got skinned by a circ pump though not quite sure what he was thinking....anyhow, Shouuld I go for more or something else? Ooh yeah...6 inch sandbed and 80ish lbs live rock. Cyano on my sand right now....working on that issue as well |
