Eheim return pump

I'm looking to get an eheim return pump. I really havnt read many negative reviews. My question is would you go with the compact plus 3000 or is it worth the extra 50 bucks or so and go with the 1262? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I don't know much about the compact + 3000, but I love the 1262.

I have the 1262 for my 125 gal. Just the right size, no problems going on 1 year.

Thanks for the quick replies. Everyone seems to love the 1262, I'm thinking it's worth it just to spend a little more and get the proven pump. I've started to realize in this hobby, it's not worth it to go cheap.

Buy cheap...buy twice. That's my motto. The Eheim 1260 or 1262 are the proven winners.

That's an awesome saying. Luckily my girlfriend is an enabler when it comes to this hobby or I totally would use that on her. I see your running the bubble magus nac6 skimmer, what do you think of it. I'm thinking of getting the nac7.

I have a 1260 that has been running for more than 4 years now, not a single problem and quiet.

I run a NAC7 on my 80 cube. It's an absolutely awesome skimmer, but you're pretty topped out for a 125g. You wouldn't be able to stock your tank very heavy. I'd consider getting the step up for that size tank.

Really? It's rated up to 180, figured if I put it on a 120 gallon tank I'd still be good
