Is 27W LED Enough For Coral?
Looking at the JBJ 28G with Intermediate LEDs
This is what it says: 27W LED Daylight 25 x 1W 14K 350mA Moon 4 x 0.5W 456nm 60mA On the website, it says "the lighting delivers the power of halides and the broad coverage of T5 lighting with over 10x the lifespan." and that the 27W "accommodates mid to low light corals" But, as usual, I'm seeing some differing opinions online in different threads and such. So would this lighting be enough to do soft corals (Leathers, Xenia, Mushrooms etc) and maybe even some stuff like Frogspawn? |

Yeah, it does talk about the PAR aspect.
The room it's going to go in is a bit warm to begin with, so I thought I'd go LED to keep it cooler and avoid having to buy a Chiller... I just wanted to make sure I could do some coral, nothing crazy like Clams or hundreds or dollar stuff. Just your usual lower end stuff |

Easily you could keep pretty much any soft coral and even some lps as long as you get the lower light ones
