Lighting Order Front to Back

in terms of lighting, what order and why?

example, with T5 tubes, if you have 4 for example, do you go: blue+, ABS, blue+, fiji purple?

i know i know, there are many combinations possible but in general, do you go more blue 14K or so at the front, then the more 10K in the middle, then a purple/red fiji pink light in the back? if so why? when i had T5s, all i did was follow what the T5 Q&A thread said, without actually thinking about why.

so i guess my question is, i have 3 reefbrite led strips. one blue, one 50/50, and one white. and i'm not exactly sure now what order to place them over my tank from front to back. since alot more people have experience with T5 ordering, i thought i'd pick yer brains and then try to apply the reasoning to my leds.

Two things that matters, first where are your corals that need the most light white would go over them then 50/50 then the blue. The other thing is what looks good to you I like a more blue looking tank so I have my blue and royal blue leds at 50% and my white leds at 40% So if you would put the blue in front then the 50/50 then the whites you would see a more blue looking tank. Reverse it and the tank will appear whiter/ brighter..

I too prefer the bluer look...and blue is good for corals. So if I were you I would have ordered a 2 blue strips and one 50/50 strip, and put the 50/50 in the middle. If that's too blue for you then do a 2:1 ratio and get 2 blue strips, and one white strip. But I have a LED fixture that has what you got, one blue, one white, and one 50/50 and it's way to white/yellow for my tastes...I can dial it in to look blue enough for me, which is the blues on full power, and the whites are just barely on...that's how strong and over powering the white LEDs are.

good luck.
