Test kits, mnisc items for pumps, fish food, anything else I will need soon?

Hey guys, I'm putting together a little order online and I want to make sure I have just about everything I'll need to get me through the cycle and soon after.

I'm ordering Salifert Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH tests.. already have salt, hydrometer (will go for refractometer later $$), ro/di water, all that good stuff.

Basically, will I be needing to dose anything right after the cycle? Any additives? Stuff to adjust pH and alkalinity? Eventually I will be checking calcium and magnesium but I don't think I'll have to worry about that for a while, right? Should I run some carbon afterwards also? I'll probably have to do that through a filter sock on my tank drain to sump.

Thanks for any thoughts...

Ah yeah forgot the magfloat... lost my old one. I think I'll just get some siphon hose from lowes because I don't see where premium aquatics sells just that without the sand sifter tube thing. Have plenty of tubing, a digital and glass thermometer, 5 powerheads (need 1 new impeller tho)...

What sort of filter floss? I don't think I really have any place in my setup to put it, other than a filter sock which I have used to run carbon in the past.

Also added a GFCI plug adapter and two new timers for lights...

Trying to think of anything else.. will probably send off an order tonight or in the morning early.

Thanks for the ideas!
