Corals at the Baltimore Aquarium
I took a few pics of some I liked a lot. I know the first couple of pictures are of their big galaxy coral, but if anyone could help ID the others, that would be great!
#1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 Puffer (I think) kept trying to eat my camera lens! He was in a fish-only tank. |

3 4 and 5 all look like hydnophoras to me. 6 looks like rhodactis mushrooms.

Hydnophora did come to mind for #4 and #5. Never thought of pavonas. The sailfin was pretty big. Everything was, really. I wish I could have captured scale.
Thanks everyone! |

2 is a Desjardin sailfin tang. 6 appears to be a Rhodactis sp. 4 could either be Hydnophora rigida or possibly Psammocora contigua.

The last fish looks more like a cowfish to me but sort of hard to tell.

I agree with Droth, the last one looks like a cowfish to me. Had one for many years and it would constantly nibble on my hands while I was cleaning the tank.
