Skimmer suggestions
I have a 65 gal + 20 sump and needing to upgrade my skimmer. Currently have a Remora Urchin and it isn't up to the task. I am looking at the Eshopps economy cone and the Octopus hob cone. I can't find much for reviews on either and hoping someone can assist in my purchase. I have very little room in my sump, the Eshopps will barely fit. Thanks!

SWC BMK 150 .
Skimz SM 121 Cadlights 1150 cone How much room for a foot print are you working with ? Imho it's kinda counter productive to have a HOB skimmer in the sump . Some people love their eshopps cone .

I have about 6" x 7" of room for a skimmer. I was thinking to try the hob due to the limited space in my sump. Looking for the best skimmer in the $200 - $300 range...

For a 65 gallon there are 3 skimmers that come to mind. First choice is the Sea side aquatics CS1 skimmer. Built well and very well balanced. Small foot print and quiet.
second would be the Super reef octo 1000. Good performance and warranty. and last would be the wm mf 121. The pump has had some restart issues in the past but I think most of the bugs are worked out of that now. Mojo~
