Skimmer Suggestions

Hi, Im looking to get a skimmer for my 75gal tank with 29 gal sump. it will be mostly sps dominated. i havent bought a skimmer in several years. i have tried to weed thru the skimmers of today. i would like to stay under 300.00. if anyone has a good suggestion please leave me a little info and model number so i can look at them. thanks

The most popular tend to be Reef Octopus, Bubble Magus, and SWC for the 300 and under budget. You can do a search on here and read for days.....

I'll sell you a ETSS for $150 it was a great skimmer for me til I upgraded to 300g system. It's rated to 180 gallons.

Another for a SRO 1000. I have the 2000 and it is one of my favorites out of many skimmers that I have tried. Very quiet, and pulls some nice sludge out.

Current Tank Info: 72 gallon reef tank, 20 gallon sump with refuge, mag 5 return pump, ins180 Reef Dynamics skimmer, diy light fixture 2x175 watt metal halide & 4x65 watt compact florescent. 8 gallon bio-cube with middle diy refugium.

Check out the Warner Marine skimmers. The S-series. I have the s-150 in my system (75gal display 30gal sump) and it is a beast! It skims really well and keeps my system in great shape.
