Ecoxotic Panoramas - DIY Light Fixture?

I purchased two ecoxotic panorama led fixtures, the optional mounts do not work on my tank due to my HOB refugium and internal protein skimmer (converted freshwater tank) and hanging from my ceiling is not an option.

I have a 75g aquarium with a plastic rim around the top - I would like to somehow secure something to each side of the tank - maybe some rigged from home depot? - so I can mount a crossbar and zip tie (or somehow fix) the panorma lights to.

Any creative ideas on how this might be accomplished?

I can post pictures if that might help.
