MP10's Question

Was wondering if I can get away with 2 MP10's in my 75gal? Its a mixed reef..

Does anybody have this already on a 75 or 90gal? Would like to know if worth it or not.

I have 2 MP 10's on my 90.
I am happy with them for what I have in my tank (mostly LPS...few SPS).

At what % do you have them on and what mode?

You want two mp 40s if your doing a sps heavy 90 gal. Otherwise get one mp 40 and and mp 10.

I run 2 on my 75 full throttle in nutrient transport mode. I have CaribSea special grade sand and it still blows it around. I think its the under tow they create that causes it though. Also if you have them too high in the water column they'll suck air and put bubbles in the display tank. I had mine around 4 or so inches from the surface and had to move them down a little. Don't underestimate these.

My corals tend to like the lagoon mode. I usually have it dialed in at 80-90%.

I also like to use the nutrient transport mode on the weekends to stir some things up.
