Help me out please!
I have a 100 gallon reef with 1 tank bred ocellaris clownfish, 1 coral beauty angelfish, and 1 SMALL blue tang. I have sps coral, soft, and lps.
and I have a few questions, first, in what way does dosing iodine to an aquarium benefit SPS coral? growth? coloration? polyp extension? second, Which anthias would best suit my reef aquarium - Ignitus, Bartlett's, or Resplendent Anthias? I prefer less aggression in my aquarium third, Will the Ignitus, Bartlett's, or Resplendent Anthias ever display the amount of aggression that a male Lyretail Anthias does? fourth, I have one tank-bred ocellaris clownfish and I am planning to add 2 tank-bred ORA snowflake clownfish in the future. Will tank-bred clownfish fight? Can 3 tank-bred Ocellaris clownfish share a tank peacefully? |

Iodide is very hard to test for and of very uncertain benefit as an additive (assuming good husbandry with regular water changes). For these reasons, most (including myself) neither test nor dose (rotting Salifert test kit in my cabinet). Iodine (esp. Lugol's) can be useful as a dip however.
