looking for next fish
i have a 90 gallon tank with two green chromis in it, peppermint shrimp, cleaner shrimp and various other CUC that i got from reef cleaners. i am now looking for ideas for what my next fish should be. i plan on eventually having a reef tank once this tank establishes itself in a few months. i would also like to add a starfish or two which could make it interesting to look at. ideas would be great. i also am thinking about ordering from vividaquariums.com anyone have any experiences with them?

I would say stick to basic fish, maybe a couple clown fish. Avoid tangs for the time being. with your tank size you could do a tomeni or another small one.
Other fish dwarf angel (flame angels are nice) royal grammas 6 line wrasse |

I would avoid a starfish. They tend not to do good in home aquaria. They basically starve to death.
Also Buckfish reccomended angels, but if you plan on having corals I would shy away from that as they may nip on your corals. You can do different types of tangs such as a kole tang or yellow tang but wait until that for the last fish. And also give you a chance to gain some experience and knowledge about them I have made an order from vivid aquariums but it was for coral. Everything was in perfect condition. Did you have any fish in mind? Flasher and fairy wrasses are nice and create alot of movement. A pair of clowns are always entertaining to watch. |

I would say everyone's first fish should be clowns. Not only are they forgiving of small mistakes, but they really are entertaining to watch.
They are tons of fun to feed - they usually will eat right out of your hands.

+1 on the clowns. I also like the blennies. I've ordered from Vivid, great service. Would definitely do so again.

I have always liked wrasses... I just wish more were reef safe.
