clove polyps
I have got a nasty, bad, case of clove polyp. A visit to the local lfs picked up a small frag and now the damn things are out of control. anyone now how to get rid of the little purple monsters?

Cover them in kalk paste (kalk mixed with a little RODI). Be sure to turn off all pumps or the kalk paste will get blown where you dont want it. Let is sit on the polyps for about 5 min then siphon it off. That should kill them.

Smothering them with some epoxy is another option. Just flatten it out and then lay it down like a blanket over the clove polyps. Make sure the edges are pressed down.
