Help- is this a proper reef MH bulb off CL?
I saw this posting from a guy nearby where I live, 2 Hamilton 175w MH bulbs. Looks like a good deal, but are the 'fat' MH bulbs like this typically less than 10k? Maybe a 5500k?
I sent him an email and might go meet tomorrow, he hasn't stated the kelvin rating though. Would it be printed on there if I go check them out? I'm fine with 10k, 14k, or the 20k Hamilton, just dont want it less than 10k (more for freshwater/algae growin') Any help would be appreciated! http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/for/2821970040.html

No they shouldn't be fat like that. Yes it should state K rating on bulb. Looks like a bulb you would find at a hardware store.
