Looking real good, like the aquascaping. You can probably up the hermits and snail numbers to around 20 each. Just keep in mind hermits will go snail hunting if food runs low.

Nice looking tank. But did you add 4 fish within the past 4 days? To me, that seems a little quick adding that many fish to a recently cycled tank (if that's the case).
I'd be prepared to do some quick water changes if you see ammonia spike with the added bioload. Maybe get a seachem ammonia badge so you don't have to test, but can see if there's any ammonia. can you describe how you are lighting your cheato? I have the JBJ LED light shining through the back window, and I'm having middling success growing the cheato (although the walls back there are covered with algae). just curious what you're doing and if it's working. again... nice tank.

I really like the aquascape. Its a very similar concept as my BC14 as far as layout. Lots of nice places for corals

The rock scape is awesome. Your hard work will start to pay off as you add more life to the tank.
Good luck! |

Looks great, I would probably only point out that from the second picture it looks like your rock is close to the glass on the left hand side. I admit that I go crazy if I can't get the cleaner magnet on every inch of the glass because it makes for a difficult place to clean.

I have cheato and the same light as well. It doesn't look like the cheato has grown much but I do have a lot of algae growing on the walls. My question is do I clean all that algae or leave it alone???

Great aquascape!
Nice corals but wanted to mention in case you didn't know that shrooms and palys/button polyps can become pretty invasive and kind of take over. They also can sting/irritate stoney corals. Point being, if you like the corals and don't mind them dominating your rockwork by all means leave them. If not, you can isolate them on an island. Also, know that shrooms can detach and reattach somewhere else. Again, great looking cube just thought you may want to know before they take off.

Nice rock work. Where did you get your rock? Also, the lime green is supposively the start of coraline algae so you are doing good. You might want to look into stevie t media basket and a tunze 9002 skimmer. I have a 29 also. Rapidled also has a retro kit for your cube too. Just passing on my 2 cents. Good luck. I am getting an mp10 when I start saving money for it. nano-reef.com is a great source for cubes too.

The lime green looks like the start of some hair algae. Is that just me?
