150 gallon reef octopus skimmer

I am being told that this skimmer can handle 210-240 gallon reef aquariums. even if it eated for 150 gallons. Is this really true? thanks for your imput

i would ask this under the coralvue forum. i run a nwb 150 on a 75 gallon. i was always told to have a over rated skimmer. jeremy will usually give you a quick answer.
