Anyone have any "real" experience with radions for sps?
Looking to see if anyone has had radions over their sps for a while, and can vouch for coral color and growth? Lots of reviews, threads, etc, but so far i havent found any that have answered this single most important ? well to me it's pretty important anyway. Everyone just brings up "par" right away then its always a fight over optics and crees or no crees, etc. Any info from someone who has had the light for a while will b appreciated.

Let me preface this by saying I'm a huge supporter of LED technology. However, these lights have only been up a few months so any testament made towards these lights is, in my opinion, premature. Many people have barely had these hanging over there tank for a month. There is little discernable evidence of coral growth or coloration that can be made in this time span. If you want testaments there is more evidence to point towards AI SOL's or other technology like T5 or MH's. This is not to say that Radion's aren't excellent lights because they certainly appear to be. I just think it's premature to point to coral growth now. 6 months, and one year later will be better judges I think.

I have a radion over a 60 cube the tank started from zero with it, and will be only sps. Unfortunatly as mastershake said, its too soon. But I'm stocking frags now, so far so good and I will knowvfor sure in a year or so.
