You could add 2, 36" 12k/445nm blue strips. That would give a good boost to your lighting! My LFS runs 2, 12k & 2, 453nm blue over a 75g Holding tank and the corals look amazing under it!

stunners are junk for par, the panorama pro's by ecoxotic are designed for that. If you're just wanting to add shimmer and tint color a bit, the stunners are good, and if you have a 6 bulb tek then you shouldn't need to worry about a boost in par...

If you're looking for a par boost though, I wouldn't get stunners.

They are linkable so you could do 2 or 3 to cover your tank.

I have two of the panorama pro blue/whites over my 92 gallon bow front fowlr tank and I threw some zoos in to see what they would do and there still looking good 6 months later and yes I'm only using two 19 watt strips for daylight and one all blue for my morning and afternoon. Pic is with two panoramas on

After googling what you are wanting to do, I found a story exactly like yours, a Fella wanted to add some LED Strips to his T-5 Fixture. It wasn't what he expected, he said he couldn't tell when the LED's were on or off, due to the Strong T-5 light, he could even see any shimmer. He added 2 or 3 strips.

My setup is a 4 bulb t5ho versus 6 bulb. I have two panorama pro's mounted to the front of the light fixture... one on each side of the 4ft long tank. When the led lights are on it definitely tints the tank and definitely adds shimmer to my tank. The pro's are bright! The stunners just weren't meant for that though.

Again, 1 panorama pro on each side has good light distribution and good shimmer on my 48" tank. I'm very happy with them. I'm not using the reflectors, which does reduce the par output a bit, but has great spread.

I originally purchased one actinic and one that was 50/50. I love the look of the 50/50, but ultimately I decided to switch one of the 50/50 out for just blue. My t5 is 4 bulb, so doing this allowed me to have 2 10k bulbs, 1 actinic bulb, 1 purple, and then the panorama pros to add back some additional blue. You'll get more par from the 50/50 or the 12k... just wasn't what I was going for.

Try the Current True Lumen Pro's. They are almost as sleek as the stunner but are a little brighter. I put a 24" in front of and in back of my 6 T5's and it makes a noticeable difference (I run 4 blue plus, 1 purple, 1 15K). I wanted to use 36" but couldn't fit them. The ReefBrites are brighter with more par but are more bulky and I couldn't fit those either.
