Best sinking pellet foods for automatic feeders

Want the food to sink rather than float and go down the overflow for mid day feeding or when I am out of town for a few days.

I have the eheim twin chamber programable feeder.

Thanks

I built this acrylic holder with an extended feeding tube for my Eheim feeder. The food sits on top of the water until saturated and then sinks, avoiding the overflow.

The auto feeder I use, the Aquarium Super Feeder (super-feeder.com), has a food funnel similar to what thegrun created. IMO, it's the best bet to avoid dry foods from entering the overflow. The alternative was for my Apex to shut off the return pump during feeding time, but my skimmer sometimes tends to act up when the return pump turns back on (don't want to come back from vacation to a flood).

i have something similar to 110galreef. I use Formula 1and 2 flakes and use the autofeeder. It drops into a rectangle that floats. When the flakes get soft the sink and wont just flow over the overflow. Easy to use.
