Do I have enough light?
I posted this in the clams thread, figured it might get better views here.
I've always kept clams under halides, or 6 bulb T-5 48'' fixtures. I have a tank that is 22.5Lx19.5Wx19T with a 24'' 4 bulb ATI sunpower. I have 2 ATI blue+, ATI aquablue special and ATI purple+, so all four bulbs do put out good par. I want to keep some sort of clam on the sand. Preferably a squamosa or crocea. The T-5's are 24 watts a piece. Do I have enough light? Thanks. |

IMO, with that fixture and bulb setup, you should be able to grow and color anything you want, anywhere in the tank.
