JNS Alpha 2 Reactor

Anyone else running one of these on a larger tank? I soaked the pellets for 24 hours and only put in 250ml every three days, but when I added the last 250ml's most of them cram up at the top. The rest tumble great and no clumps. I tried to adjust the flow up and down and did not make any difference. Seems i can only get about 600ml's to tumble. What gives?
