300g tank question
Hey guys im looking at getting a 300g tank and a 150g sump, the sump is custom and being built right now and im not sure what type of pump i should use, i am looking at using 2 pumps and i need to find out what pump so i can get the bulkheads drilled into the sump
Do you guys think 2 reeflo snapper hybrids are over kill? |

I have a single snapper on my 285, but only a 40g sump. Two seems fine they are not overly powerful. Why not just one real powerful pump?

I have a ReeFlo Barracuda / Hammerhead Hybrid Pump for my tank and it is an absolute beast. The cool feature about having a strong pump you can tee your return line in with your reactors, chiller, etc.
I also have 2 pumps for my closed loop. I have never run two pumps for my return, but some others have. Its personal preference I guess. You can run the 2 reeflo snapper hybrids. Maybe just have one strictly dedicated for the return and then the other for return and your reactors, chiller, etc.
