tunze questions
I'm thinking about trading/selling 2 of my mp40s for 2 tunze 6105's but I don't know enough about them to know what to get.
As I understand it the 6105's are controllable similar to the mp's. what I don't understand is what exactly I need to make these controllable ... do I have to buy the 6105's separately from the driver? and do they sell different drivers that have different programs? does tunze sell a packaged deal? essentially I want to have them run in a similar fashion as the reefcrest mode. what do I need to get to do this?

You'll need the 7092 wave controller which can be purchased separately or in a kit
(TS24) which includes 2 6105's and a 7092, MSRP is $927.93 http://www.tunze.com/149.html?&L=1&C...-infoxunter026

Do you have an Apex? I control my 6105 with my Apex and it works great. I just got both of them this month and couldn't be happier.

I have the ACIII, with no intention to upgrade but may be a sound argument to upgrade.

IMO I would either go with this which comes with a 7095 controller which will give you more options than the 7092 or get 2 6105's with a 7096 controller the 7096 is the same as a 7095 but with a couple more options and you can update it when they have more.

I would go with a 7095 or 7096 Tunze multi controller.

If I understand correctly the 7092 just alternates back and forth from 1 pump to another, it looks like the 7095 is what I'm looking for.

Yes the 7095 is more complete than the 7092 (which normally is used on tunze waveboxes not the streams), but the 7096 is more precise than the 7095 since you don't use dialers but rather a computer to set values. You need a laptop or a computer close by to make things easier, or you can just take it to your computer, program it and plug everything back on it.
Also if you have an ACIII you can get the aquasurf module (you can find an used one for a decent price) which will give you the same programability of the 7096 and more (it's not restricted to tunzes minimum pump values but can void the manufacturers warranty) |
