Corraline or Cyano ?

Saw these redish spots growing on my dead rock. Hoping it's corraline, but want to make sure. Can anyone confirm one way or another ?

Hard to tell but looks like Corraline to me. If your unsure just take a turkey baster or powerhead and try and blow it off the rock. Cyano will just come right off.

Pointed a powerhead right at it and it didn't budge! Was pretty sure it looked like corraline, thanks for confirming. Looks like my seeding is starting to take hold (yeay!).

HA. You won't be so happy when it covers everything.
If that's your thing, scrape it and it will spread faster.

Reefergeorge,

I get a kick out of your avatar picture every time I see you in a post. Original picture?

And I agree it looks like corraline algae to me as well.
