skimmer question

i just got a 125g tank so i'm upgrading from a 46 bowfront and the skimmer i am running on the bowfront is a bubble mag thats only rated up to 80 gallons. Can i use that on the 125g tank for know until i can get a bigger skimmer? if so what can i excpect the bubble mag to do for know?

Yes you can run the current skimmer for now without any problems. When you get your new upgrade just swap them out.

absoluty. i went from a 75 gallon to a 170 gallon and used the same skimmer until i did a ton of research. i wanted to make sure i got the right one and a really good one. Take ur time, skimmers r a big deal.
