Leopard Wrasse Primer

I would highly recommend reading through the leopard wrasse primer as it has your answer and more. This species can be very tough to get acclimated to aquarium life. Good luck.

I've read this, and the achilles primer, from reading the achilles primer mine is doing just fine, i'm not going to buy a difficult fish without doing research.

I wouldn't start to worry for at least a few days.

Mine (Macropharyngodon Ornatus) didn't show up before 6-7 days. Since then he got used tot he lights timing and is out as soon as lights are on and disappears at light off time even if sometimes I kee p the lights for a longer period.
They seem to frequently come with intestinal worms and other disease so prophilactic treatment or at least keeping a close watch for it the first few weks to make sure it's not loosing weight could be a good idea.

Then from reading the leopard wrasse primer you should know this is normal and anything can happen. You may see it today, you may not see it for a month, or you may never see it again. Have you started dosing prazipro in the tank yet?

My blue star leopard that I used to have hid in the sand for an entire week then she came out as soon as the lights came on and hit the sand as soon as they shut off. It was my favorite fish that I have ever had. I hope to get another one someday. It is just one if those fish that you don't buy unless it is out an about and reguraly eating prepare foods. I had mine eating anything I put in the tank.
