T5 ?

How high should my Tek 6bulb light be from water line dims of tank 36x24x24 so my tank is 24 deep thanks guys

The closer the better (provided your reflectors give you good spread). 4" to 6" should be good.

imo the closer the hotter

i use egg crate to stack 1" higher

True but with a 24" deep tank he will need all the PAR he can get out of the lights.

I was thinking the same 4" to 6" I will be needing all the par I can get when my tank is 24" deep thanks for the input.

24" = 2 feet?

we have similar setup, i have no issue growing monti on my bb tank floor

btw my lightset is app 6" away from water surface
