Can i put GFO in a filter bag?
i was just wondering if i could use GFO in a filter bag to put in my overflow of my 12gal aquapod instead of a reactor wich i dont have the money or room for, lol.? If so should i put it under my carbon bag since carbon runs out faster and needs changing more often? Also does GFO remove Nitrates to? or just Phosphates?

Why not try the new Blue Life Clear FX Pro. It's granular activated carbon, hybrid phosphate removing resin and organic scavenger resin all in one small bag. Apparently from what I've heard it is quite effective.

I use GFO in one bag and purigen in another on my 30 cube. Both are in a aquaclear 30 HOB filter. Works great!
