Smart reef ro di...
Has anyone had any experience with Smart reefs ro di filter? They seem fairly cheap pricewise was just wondering how they perform.

From a quick search, it seems like the 75gpd unit is around $150. On paper it looks pretty competitive against other RO/DI units in the same category. The extras it includes like the inline dual TDS is great. Most RO/DI units will perform good including this unit. The membrane is more important than anything. You should be fine with this but if the price comes out to be around 175-200, I would recommend the air, water, ice unit (typhoon 5 or 3) or the BRS 5 stage plus.

Ahh ok so if the price turns out to be close to a better unit may as well fork out a few extra dollars. Thnx man. Im just tired of hauling ro and salt mixed water back n forth from my LFS even if it gives me one more excuse to go up there.
