Refuguim question?

Hey guys my tank is cycling first day should I run my refuguim during this cycling thanks guys!!!

I would put any rock and sand you want in it in and hold off on the plants

I would. The water, LR and sand (if any) in your refugium is part of your system and it all needs to be cycled and get bacteria growing. I'd wait until after the ammonia spike drops to add macro algae, but the algae can help with the nitrates at the end of the cycle and with diatom and algae blooms that come a little further along in the tank maturing process.
