Apex and Hydor Koralia controllable

I have already purchased 2 Hydor Koralia 8 controllable pumps for my 125 new build I am working on. I am going to purchase an Apex lite and was wondering if the controller can control the Koralia 12v pumps? If not, then I will get the 4 pump controller from Hydor. Thanks.

It can turn them on or off with the outlet but thats about it.

Tunze and ecotech can be controlled with the apex with the correct modules.

I know this is an older thread, but anyone with any experience? I am curious to this too. I dont see why this couldnt be done using the Apex VDM. Any one know if that is possible?

No experience, but the VDM can't control the controllable Koralias. The VDM can put out a 0-10V signal, but it's just that... a signal. It's meant for control voltage, not to actually power something.

I am curious. Ecotech has its own controller so why would you want to use an apex for it ? Is there some advantage ?

I am thinking-Planning on getting back into the hobby and looking at the different options. Anyone used the coralife powerheads
Coralife 06145 DC Wavemaker Pulse 5800 ??
Probably not as good. But The Better units are so expensive by comparison.

Has anyone had a Ecotech for several years without issue. For there price I find it too hard to justify.
