How bad is 38ppm

I just got a TDS meter and my tap water is 150 and after going through my RO/DI its coming out 38. Might be because the unit sat for a week or two when it wasn't working properly. Now i wonder if it ever was.

What are the issues with using water with reading like this since i already have a bunch made? I will be getting a replacement membrane asap

It's the same issues as you might have using tap water. It doesn't sounds like your filter is working properly.
