WHat are some tools/tricks/schedules you use to keep your tank clean?
Just finished cleaning my tank after not touching it for 2 weeks and boy are my hands tired!
Got me to thinking. This is one of the biggest chores we have as a community. What are some best practices and tools? What do you employee to make your tank less of a chore? What products worked and didn't work? You read around about keeping the glass/acrylic clean and you get the usual: 1) clean display once a week 2) keep nutrients down 3) mag scraper 4) credit card or razor blade 5) magic eraser pads Do you have any thing to add? My biggest annoyance is hard algae that forms because of the effort it takes to remove. I would love to have that issue lessened. As kind of a side comment, I wonder when the heck that robosnail is going to be released, for those not familiar with it: http://www.agiaquatics.com |

Mag float every day. Nothing builds up if you do it every day
