What material works best for Lights Out?
I'm working on ridding my tank of dino's......still!
Lights Out periods seem to work the best after trying everything else. I usually wrap my tank in the black 55 gallon garbage bags. I make it a couple of layers think since I have my tank in a room with a ton of natural sunlight. I'm not sure it's the optimal "lights out" material though. It raises the tanks temperature and produces a ton of condensation that gets all over the place. What material do others use for lights out? |

I think that would be fine or maybe try dark color towels or comforter\blankets...

I used a couple of bed comforters to rid myself of cyano. The misses wasn't a huge fan, but she has learned to live with stuff like comforters over the tank, kitchen rags being used to clean up salt creep and sand in the sink.
