hello to the forum, Is it a good idea to put some snails in the refugium so they can eat the algae in the walls instead of going in there and move all that around I don't have a filter pass the refugium and all will go to the DT. I have sand , live rock and chaeto will it do any harm.

I have some snails in my fuge. I'm not exactly sure what your question is though

I got snails, and a few crabs in mine, you should be just fine

I was just wandering if their was any problem with snails in the sump will

it do anything to the copepod propagation

I wouldn't load it up with snails but a few shouldn't hurt anything. The snails in my sump are there because they liked to knock things over or cause problems.

not to steal a thread, but can one have snails/crabs in a sump if the lights are on 24/7? i know this wouldn't be ideal for fish.
