Plumbing BP reactor into skimmer intake

Hi,
I have a Euroreef RS135 skimmer with a Sedra 5000 feed pump.
I'm planning on plumbing the output line of my recirculating Bio pellet reactor into skimmer pump intake ...has anyone here done this that could offer a few tips ? Be appreciated.

I saw this done in a vid - couldn't quite tell exactly how.. it appeared to be a simple tee fitting..Is it just that simple?

Cheers.

Yes a simple t will work if you can find one to fit. The purpose is to not restrict the skimmers intake by putting the bp effluent line directly into skimmer pump intake. Let it take a mix of effluent and regular sump water.

I have a large 4 chamber sump/refuge (approx 65gal) and my BP outlet is way after my skimmer. Its actually dumping right next to my intake pump and feeding my corals. i've had fantastic coral growth over the last 7mths with it that way.

The only problem I see with that is you aren't exporting anything except the nitrogen gas produced and bubbled off. I guess if you run GFO and keep your phosphates in check you could essentially do what you are doing and make a bacteria factory to feed the corals but generally it is recommended to skim off at least some of the bacteria production that the BP reactor creates.
