Adding UV to a Dual Radion Setup

I am currently running a dual Ecotech Radion setup over my 110. I am pleased overall with the lights however growth and coloration are somewhat below expectations. Water quality and husbandry are excellent (undetectable ammo, nitrites, nitrates, ca 440, kh 10, Mg 1410, salinity at 1.025) and are not on my 'suspect list'. I do know however that Radions do not incorporate the UV spectrum and that Halides do. (Used to run dual 400 Radiums with VHO actinics with great results).

With the forgoing in mind, does anyone have thoughts on adding a supplements LED setup to add UV? If so, how would you do it? I do not want this to be a DIY project for building an LED fixture. That said, I have a flexible hanging solution on my Radions that would allow the addition of either spots or strips of lights.

All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Check with EcoXotic, I think they have or are about to release a UV strip.

Ecoxotic has the stunner strip in a 403nm color. I run one over my tank and it seems to work well. I don't have any "proof" but I think my colors are pretty nice overall. I can't get good pictures though because of the LEDs. My cameras hate them and I have no skill with a camera.

You could get 2 12" strips for each fixture and go from there.

Just a thought.

That sounds like what I'm looking for. Apparently, Ecotech is coming out with what may be a new led puck for their lights and I may wait to see if they've added that wavelength.

Do the stunner strips penetrate to a decent depth? My tank is only 20" deep so they don't have to penetrate too far.

Oh, and I know your pain about the camera. I used to be able to take pretty good shots under MH/VHO combo but no chance under LED's.
