Led Question

I am wanting to replace my PC lights with some LED's I have a place here in Canada that has a variety of LED's for pico tanks.

My tank is 3 gal, I keep softies and would like to know which of these lights would be good for it and to also keep my corals growing and healthy.

Stunner strips 12" how many?

Ecoxotic Ecopico they have the strips in this as well as the fixture it self, how many of either these strips or fixture?

I don't know anything about LED's as appose to PC or T5's as far as wattage goes and what one needs for corals.

Any advice or help greatly appreciate.

Thanks

Its 11 1/2 x 8 x 7

Its a rimmless tank too.

Everything I have been reading about these lights the stunner strips and the Ecoxotic - Ecopico fixture says these are just add on light and should not be used as a main source of light. The place that sells these says they are for pico tanks like what I have and that corals will and do grow under these lights.

Have you considered building your own LED system?
