NO WAVEMAKER but CIRCULATION PUMP & POWERHEAD
I have a powerhead & a circulation pump but I don't have a wave maker. What would be the best direction for me to point these to get the best water circulation in the tank?

try pointing the power head so it intersects the return pump's flow, like an X...that way the water crashes together and goes off in random directions...

Can also put the powerhead on timer on/off every hour if the tank can do ok with out the circulation for the off periods. Best would be to add another powerhead on a timer!
