skkye light LED 30 watt enough light for...
Tryin to solve the mystery of where my blueberry acro is gonnna be happy in my tank. Got a skkye light led 14k 30 watt which I have read is equiv to a 150 metal halide, is this enough liht for this guy in my tank? My red monti cap same level and flow is doin great, so are birdsnest. Got a protien skimmer and phoshate reactor w/carbon and chaeto. Great water qualit.

had it there and it was a light brown with a tad of blue on the tips, had descent polyp extension though, maybe i need to add one more live rock to make it higher in the tank

Could have alot to do with your tank par. Phos, Nitates, nitrites, alk, calcium, mag. Check all of them before moving it around to much. Your moves should be slow. It could be browning due to change in mass zooxanthellae at one time producing in the coral because of more light.

But yes put it pretty close to the top of the tank with that lighting. Also from what I have read it has tighter optics in the middle of your fixture so you may want to put it there.
