new 54 gallon reef ready aquarium
hey all,
i just purchased a used 54 gallon corner aquarium and Amiracle wet/dry filter. i have a question regarding flood prevention. in the case of a power outage, how do i prevent water overflowing into the sump from the main tank? the back wall cover has openings on the top and bottom so i am concerned that if the power goes out, water will continue flow out of the main tank until the water level reaches the bottom openings. thanks for your help!! |

extend a pipe up from the bottom hole to the same level as the top hole (middle or lower half of the top hole)....That way the water will stop draining
ps- make sure to use a bulkhead in the bottom hole |
