Vertex IN-100 impeller
got a small issue, my impeller magnet has the dreaded bulge... having a bit of trouble finding a place that has a replacement in stock. anyone know of anywhere that has some in stock at a fair price? also i have read alot about people replacing the stock pump with something different, any thoughts on what is the best pump to replace it with that isnt going to completely rob me blind?

wow 41 views and not a single person with any ideas...
on a side note i took a razor blade and shaved the bumps down and tried it and it seemed to work like normal. question is, is that going to cause an issue? |

I ran into the same issue. Research suggested that a bubble blaster 1000 would work well with that skimmer.

thanks for the reply, but at $145 is too much... i didnt pay that much for the skimmer itself... plus i researched it and noticed that there were a few people that have had the same issue that i am having with the impeller magnet splitting. i would guess that it could happen to any skimmer put since it sits under water all the time.
