Vortech for 60 gallons
I have a rectangle tank (48L x 15W x 17H).
I already have one MP 10ES but I'm thinking of getting 2 more, one for each side except the front. So it'll cover three sides. OR should I get 2 MP 40s to go with my MP10?

Hey man are you running that 10 at max output? Is it a lot noisier when you have it a max output vs minimum output?

I have a 65 gal high (36" long) and one mp40 moves enough water. Since your tank is longer I would start with one and see if it's enough. If not you might consider putting the 10 & 40 on the same end of the tank and have them sync together and seeing how it does. For my tank one 40 does an excellent job and I couldn't be happier

i recommend buying a mp40 and see what that does. afterwards if you feel the need for another mp40 you can get it and then have them run on each end of the tank and have the mp10 on the back wall. or take the mp10 out and make a nice nano tank with it good luck.
