I am looking for a good refugium light, some people just get work shop light clamp and a small spiral compact fluorescent bulb, but i have limited space in my stand. Does any one have one for sale or know where i can get one? i am looking to grow some chaeto with some miracle mud. thanks.

Since you're looking for a more local deal, it'll help if you put your location in either your details or in the thread.

Limited space? Exactly what are you looking for? I know Diablo sells Par30 bulbs for the fuge, they are fairly small.

I use the clamp style fixture, but remove the metal hood. The bulb you describe has a built in reflector and you don't need the shade. Been working for me for years. I replace the bulb once a year.
