Maroone Clown bulging eyes and acting crazy

Hi everyone, I need help.. My clownfish is acting really weird and now has bulging eyes and his gills/chin looks weird. They have white/grey areas on them but its not inside the gill like ick (may just be from rubbing the sand). He has been shooting around the tank eratically and has been rubbing against the bottom rocks and sand. However, he is eating fine and all levels tested fine (both my tests and my LFS tests).

It all started about two weeks ago when in two days, four of my five snails died. Fish and corals were acting fine. No effect. Then about four days ago, my frogsqawn and zoas wouldn't open and my clownfish started swiming eratically at the top of the tank... his top fin was above the water line. A 180 degree turn. He has since retreated to the bottom of the tank and has been swimming sideways against the side of the rocks, almost as if he was trying to host. This is a fish who usually stays in his cave and just floats around and now he's swiming like a crazy person. He looked fine until today, when his eyes started to bulge and there is a spot on his bottom fins. I dont know if the spots are disease or from him burrowing in the rock/sand at the bottom. It isn't inside his gills like Ick.

I did a 20% water change anyways and no real improvements. I've read about popeye but that doesn't explain why the corals and snails have been dying/closed.

Tank Info:
25 gallon cube
LED lighting
Nano Slimskim in tank skimmer
Nitrate: 0
Amonia: 0
Salinity: 1.28

Any thoughts would be appreciated. There is a brown algae outbreak that I have been fighting but i dont know if it has anything to do with this.

Thanks
Marc & Rebecca

Thanks

Treatment? Is there a disease anyone knows of that could have both killed my snails and cause the pop eye? I have no clue what is causing this and therefore I have no idea what to treat.

Research "Dinos" or "Dinoflagellates" on here. I'm not saying this is definitely what you have going on here, but the initial outbreak of dinos can kill snails, corals and even fish sometimes.

Thanks b0ba0ey.

I thought that might be an issue about three montsh ago. I was fighting a brown slimey substance. Finally got that cleared up and about a month ago, some brown aglae returned but it is not stringy and slimy. Its more like brown cotton balls or brown hair algae. Hard to explain.

I will look into that a bit more though. Thanks
