t5 lighting question

I am looking to put t5 over my 150 gal tank. 72x18x24. I am planning a retro fit and i am thinking for 8x36" bulbs. I am planning on using ATI bulbs. I was originally thinking fowlr but now may be looking into some sps and lps. Will this be enough for the tank or do i need to look into other lighting sorts. Thanks for the help

36" bulbs = 39w
60" bulbs = 80w
The 60" bulbs would give you twice the wattage. IMO 6 good 60" bulbs with good reflectors would be enough for LPS and most SPS. Since you're doing a retro you could try 6 bulbs and if you want more light later on just add 2 more.
